Here is what my desktop looked like at 9pm on a Wednesday night at work.
I run two 19″ CRT monitors each at 1600 x 1200 resolution and I wish I had more.
The beauty of having this much space is that I keep certain things in fixed positions always visible. On the second monitor, the one on the right, you’ll see that Winamp – it never moves. Outlook tasks and calendar are open as separate windows (did you know you could do that?) and I leave them in exactly the same place all the time. I spend a whole lot less time managing windows because of it.
